BUILDING LONG LEAF FARM
Wow! What a journey! What started out as a failed pine stand is becoming our dream.
We didn't start with much ...but we've done it ALL ourselves! Our 17 acre farm is divided into three pastures and the horses are housed in small, compatible groups.
We currently have a 36' x 32' multi-purpose barn with a 12'x10' tack room a 12' x 12' stall, a 24'x12' run-in and a 24'x22' run in which provide shelter to two of our pastures. We've got plans to expand the barn to include two more stalls. A seperate feed and hay shed keep the goodies well out of the horses' reach!
Our riding amenities include a 150' x 100' sand ring with jumps, a grass riding area with trail obstacles, a 60' round pen and quiet country roads and woods for trail riding.
